Vienna Coffee House, 212 College St., is temporarily revising its hours in order to remodel the Maryville shop.
The remodel will consist of the installation of beer kegs, replacing the kitchen floor and updating the cafe.
“In preparation for launch of the beer program, Vienna Coffee is undertaking a significant remodel of our kitchen and service areas next week and will operate with a fairly abbreviated customer service schedule,” owner John Clark told The Daily Times.
During the remodel, which will take place beginning Monday, Clark said Vienna will strive to maintain its operations as much as possible.
“In order to do this, we will modify our schedule and menu and will move the cafe to the third floor,” he said, noting that the cafe only will be accessible through the back parking lot door, but the patio and roastery will remain open.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
Upon its reopening, Clark said guests will be able to enjoy a new summer menu; a rotating selection of local craft beer on tap; a freshly painted cafe and new art display; and a modernized kitchen and service area.
“We realize this is a disruption to you (customers),” he said, adding that Vienna Coffee will offer a 20 percent “construction” discount on all available cafe and drive-thru items, with the exception of bagged coffee, throughout the remodeling process.
